Senior Pet Wellness

Frankie

Remember that cats and dogs age a bit differently than we do as humans. Our DVM’s consider patients to be entering their senior years as early as 6 or 7 years old depending on the breed.

We recommend bi-annual wellness exams for seniors because as your pets get older, these more frequent visits can catch many life-affecting changes before they are major health concerns. After all, our veterinarians have the experience and keen eye for detail that could make all the difference in the length of your pet’s comfortable life.

p.s. That’s Frankie in the picture above. His frequent visits helped diagnose his diabetes. Now he has the benefit of frequent monitoring and awesome pet parents that keep a good eye on his numbers!
